Michal Mrkvička has been a part of AUREL for 18 years and has never had the need to work for another company.

“After graduating from the secondary industrial school in Mladá Boleslav, I graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Liberec. I started my career at MAHLE Behr in Mnichovo Hradiste as an industrial engineer with the focus on optimizing production lines. At that time, however, it was very difficult to get into technical development in this company. During my job search I discovered AUREL, where I still work today.

I was initially employed here as a freelancer for ŠKODA AUTO in the passive safety department. I started in the development division as a technician. Gradually I got to the position of a developer in the field of passive safety, where I was mainly involved in crash tests, their evaluation and 3D optical measurement. This was followed by the position of coordinator and development manager. Eventually, I became CEO, which I still am, and I have already spent 18 interesting years at AUREL.”
